We ALWAYS felt that she was in our corner, representing us and our interests. And she never gave up when she and we felt that the builder was not meeting the requirements specified in the contract. We were owners of a beautiful condo in Virginia Beach that just sold this month at full price after nearly seven months on the market. We came to Madonna in August of 2022 (she was also our buyer's agent for this place in 2015) asking for her help once again to support us by selling the condo. The market became more difficult beginning in August due to Fed action on interest rates and the economy. We had 2 offers in October that fell through (ugh!) but the 3rd offer in January was the charm. Throughout this long period (a period where we lived outside the Continental United States), Madonna kept us optimistic and suggested numerous quick remodeling actions we could take to make the condo even more marketable to buyers. In our absence, she and her husband, Bob, greatly exceeded all our expectations by quickly identifying both fixes and solutions, coordinating contractors, and otherwise supporting all required actions (i.e., procurement of needed materials, replacing appliances, HVAC repair, toilet repair, painting, carpet replacement, light and mirror change out, moving unwanted patio furniture, and moving an item to our storage unit) and also making regular visits there to make sure everything remained in tip-top shape up to the day of closing. This list of the things they had to do seemed endless but they covered it all! When it came to the business side of the deal, Madonna's sage advice along the way was key to getting us smoothly and quickly to closing and supporting the fair price we got for our home.
